John Gregson BA Mus(hons) DipLCM (TD) is a freelance guitarist based in London.
Original guitar chairs have included “Love Story” (Chichester Festival Theatre, London’s Duchess Theatre & Original West End Cast Recording), “She Loves Me” (Chichester Festival Theatre revival), “Song Cycle for Soho” (Soho Theatre & Original London Cast Recording) & “Jekyll & Hyde” (Morphic Graffiti, Union Theatre London).
Other performance credits (on electric, acoustic & classical guitar, mandolin, bouzouki and banjo) include She Loves Me (Chichester Festival Theatre), Little Fish (European premiere at the Finborough Theatre), The Last Five Years, Company, Spamalot! & Legally Blonde UK tours (selected dates), West Side Story, The Great British Songbook with Jill Halfpenny, “Songs of my Life” (The Garrick Theatre), and the Movie Classics tour with The Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.
Previously he worked at Wells Cathedral Music School from 2006-9, and is a tutor for The South West Music School and the International Guitar Festival.
